Omalicha Africa (Beautiful Africa) shortened for OmaAfri Designs is a social enterprise arm of WHAIafrica, a nonprofit that is discovering creative talents among the vulnerable and groom them to craft products from waste.
WHAIafrica Creative Hub is a Talent Discovery and Development hub, helping young people from poor homes including persons with disabilities find their strengths and passion.
OmaAfri Designs aims to promote rich African cultural heritage using unique eco-fashion designs. Most of our products are crafted from waste and upcycled into amazing beautiful designs.
We use 3D laser which gives our products perfect finishing to meet international standard for export.
This is our own contribution in building a sustainable environment and reducing waste in the community.
Through the brand, we provide means of income to creative youths with disabilities. We discover their talents and train them to craft amazing products. We are all about empowering lives.

In 2022, Airtel Nigeria through her Corporate Social Responsibility Project supplied 3D machines, tech devices and tools to WHAIafrica. The equipment enabled us to mass produce and give perfect finishing to the products we craft while empowering more youths to upcycle wastes in their environment.
During the Anambra Fashion Expo 2022, the 44th Miss Nigeria officially launched the brand. The governor of the state, her daugher and other cabinet members were wowed at the creativity from OmaAfri brand and they became the first set to patronize the brand. We target selling on popular e-commerce platforms but currently, one can order via the social media and our website.
